"Language input" in general means all sources of language your child is exposed to, and quantity, as you may guess, is the number of sources.
In a case like mine, when I am separated from the country of my native language, language sources are scarce. To be honest, for several years, I was the only native speaker of Russian miles around, and my kido was shocked when she saw other adults speaking Russian.
There are a few easy tricks on how to increase the amount of language around your baby.
1️⃣ Speak/think aloud - talk about anything when you're around your baby, keep talking all the time
2️⃣ Take turns, and wait for the response - give a child time to reply to participate in the communication
3️⃣ Expand, recast, develop - actively modify baby's speech. Search for "Expand," "recast," and "develop" online or sign up for my online course.
4️⃣ Engage relatives - bring your family into the picture, and make their participation regular
5️⃣ Reduce/refuse from videos - exclude video at all until the age of 4
